End User Training Service

As part of the implementation service, Agresso provides full training to the project team. This training is geared towards system design and set up, rather than day to day transaction processing, record maintenance and information retrieval. It is therefore not generally suited to the end users of the system and this task falls to members of the customer project team.

If Agresso takes responsibility for planning and delivering end user training, the project team can devote their time to other issues. The end users will receive training from consultants who have experience of a wide range of organisations and extensive knowledge of AGRESSO.

This service is also applicable to existing customers who have recently recruited new staff, or who are extending the use of Agresso to new business areas.

Because every organisation’s requirements will be different, and because end user training will be directed specifically at the needs of groups of staff within the organisation, the precise range of services required will vary. The following are some of the areas in which Agresso can help.

Agresso Application Review

A business does not stand still, it is constantly changing to improve and meet new demands. Business systems should move in line with business requirements.

Once a project is completed, a review should be carried out to ensure that it has met the original objectives, identify any improvements and assess whether any further work is required to meet the future needs of the business. The Agresso Application Review is a review of the existing Agresso system configuration and how it is currently used by the business taking into account any change in business circumstances to date. This type of review is most beneficial approximately 3 months after the initial ‘go live’ or a major upgrade and subsequently on an annual basis or as a precursor to new modules/interfaces implemented.

The review will identify the following areas:
  • System usage
  • Problem areas
  • Unused features
  • Training needs
The review does not include any technical system areas, such as database efficiency, which are covered by separate technical services.
